I've resisted watching the ABC remake of "The Kingdom" (Kingdom Hospital) ever since it started. This is because I am a HUGE fan of Lars von Trier and especially his original Danish mini-series from 94. I'm sufficiently convinced nothing can touch his work that is well summed up on the box as, "ER.....on acid". von Trier fansite
I just learned von Trier is actually an executive producer and writer on the ABC series. So I'm watching it now. I just saw this aardvark/anteater beast thing that grants wishes and rips peoples' hearts out. My faith in the future of american TV has moved up a notch from 0 to 1.
(oh wait, it was immediately followed by some "news" show featuring losers from American Idol "looking back"........back to 0...click)
The lamp my friends gave me for my birthday, very awesome.
The haircut I was given at 2 in the a.m. by these same "friends", supposedly for my birthday, not sure yet. I could probably do a decent impression of Charlie now.

so this 'kingdom hospital' show..i tried to watch a couple. and i gotta say, it didn't do it for me. was i doing something wrong? is it worth me giving it another serious look?
and actually, i'm not listening to anything right now. the traffic i guess. b/c i have to read soon, and music distracts me
