I have been having some terrible insomnia for the past few days. I always go through these spell where I just toss and turn with thoughts about meaningless crap racing in my brain. Amazing how you can go the whole day just fine and as soon as your head hits the pillow, small things become exaggerated phenomenons.
Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, but we celebrated it today. It was nice and I was happy. You know moms, they hate acknowledging they're turning another year older, but they're extremely thankful for everything they get. I still can't believe how supportive and lax about me doing this is. I guess she knows by now to expect the unexpected with me, and I wish other parents were like that with their kids because it definitely encourages seeking identity, instead having parents create one for you. I am so lucky.
Matthew has been tinkering with his camera, getting to know it better. We've been planning on a new set and I'm very confident this one will be better than last time, as my skin is pale and in the last set we made the mistake of taking photos in an abrasive room light. I was really surprised how the sun didn't set off a glow off of my skin, but it didn't. Here is a practice shot in my backyard..this is not part of a new set, just fucking around really. We have much better ideas and my confidence is high. Enjoy!! Feedback would be very much appreciated.
