I saw REVENGE OF THE SITH today. I don't care what anyone says, that movie is awesome! Sure, Christensen could use some acting lessons, but the story was VERY well-told -- though it does have a few holes. If you've already seen the movie, read on:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)The scene where Mace Windu attempts to arrest Darth Sidious is the best scene ever. And the following scenes, when the clone army turned on the Jedi, and when Anakin (well, Vader) killed the children in the Jedi temple -- that was just incredible.
The battle on Kashyyyk left me a little disappointed. I was hoping to see more of the Wookiees, but instead we just got a few battle scenes and a pitifully brief appearance by Chewbacca.
Master Yoda kicks butt, as usual. The role of Darth Sidious is played very well. R2-D2 is one helluva droid. Gotta love that guy.
I'm a little confused about what happened to Leia at the end. The ones who adopted her -- who were they? Was that the Queen of Naboo? I'm thinking not, since we know from A New Hope that Leia is from Alderan. And what about Luke? They decided to hide him somplace where Anakin/Vader wouldn't look for him. So they leave him with Anakin's family on Tatooine??? What the fucking fuck? What kind of hiding is that?
Also, I watched Return of the Jedi. Do you remember the scene where Luke tells Leia that she's his sister? Do you remeber Leia saying what she remembers about her mother? HA! Sith got it wrong! If Padme died during childbirth, how is Leia supposed to remember anything about her?
Wow, I started off saying the movie was great, but then I went on a rant. It really is excellent -- it is by far the best of the prequels. But I just don't know how to elaborate on the good parts.
2)The Emperor tells vader he killed padme. Vaders response "Nooooooooooooooooooo!
3)most of the dialogue between padme and anakin
