He's just registered some domain names, and is planning to host a few forum sites. The one he already has up and running is a personal/family/friends sort of thing, and yesterday I created the first user account (besides his) and made the first comment evAr. Hee hee.
I've been contemplating new toys for my computer. I desperately need more RAM (I'm running on 256MB now); I'd like a bigger hard drive (wouldn't we all?
), maybe an external drive. A new processor would be cool, too; I have an Athlon 2400 and could do better, but I'll go for the memory first. And I'd love to get a video-in/-out card that can record an HD broadcast. But that's at the bottom of the list.
I've also been thinking about setting up a Linux box -- maybe build a box out of the obsoleted parts from my main computer, and grab Fedora or FreeBSD or something. I'd like to experiment with web hosting just a little bit.
