sitting here at Rhys' parents' house in Washington, NC. rain started earlier today, and there's a hurricane blowing in. don't know if this should be considered ironic, or just lousy luck on my part. it's not supposed to be bad around here, though. just a lot of rain, and some flooding. i haven't been tracking it or anything; seems silly to give Ophelia the time of day, considering the beating we took down in New Orleans.

let's see now... lots of news to report, both good and bad. i'll get to that later; today, tomorrow- there's time enough. it's hard to sort it all out in my head right now.

also, there are a lot of irritating, seemingly insignificant or trifling inconveniences adding up to frustrate and annoy me to the point of fucking tears. i'm sure i'll get around to those, too.

um. i'm almost caught up with getting back to people and responding to comments left here over the past couple weeks. if i overlooked you or haven't gotten back to you, be patient. i'm operating on not-quite-my-own schedule, here.
