quick update, then i'm gonna get out of here.
Rhys got home okay, although there were a lot of plain delays. apparently he was on one of the trains that got bombed, but it was about an hour before it happened. scary shit, man. glad he wasn't running late that day.
spent way too much money at the grocery today. usually i'll spend between $20 and $40 every ten days or so. today i spent... way. more. than that. heh. almost $100. i don't know what the fuck happened. i think i was just a) hungry, or b) legitimately out of a lot of shit. meh. more money down the drain.

Oh, and I can spend money like a well-paid bisexual crackhead sailor on shoreleave when it comes to food shopping when I'm the least bit hungry.
My wife is the exact same way, so there's no voice of reason involved.
We've spent over $100 on days where we've started out saying "Do we really need anything from the grocery store today?"
