feeling better.
well, a bit.

sorry i've been such a mope lately. like i've told some of y'all, this has been the month of unexpected bad shit. one thing right the fuck after another. must be in the stars, if you believe that crap.

mope.



anyway. still no luck with jobs. apparently it's tough to find something 9-5 that pays decent and allows me to be creative and/or productive. well. no fuckin' duh, huh?

heh. fuck it. maybe it'll be better for me to get the hell out of this city. i don't know.

Echoing everyone else-- your art is really, truly terrific. I know the NO is a near-impossible place to get fulfilling work that pays decently, banana republic that it is.

In what kind of work are you interested? I got the impression you might want to teach or something? It's been a few years since I worked in the non-profit art education world (and even then kind of tangentially), but I'd be happy to pass any info along if I hear about something.

You probably have you just haven't realized it. Coldplay is a band from england who debuted their album in 2000. They then followed it up with an album in 2002 along with a live dvd. Ever since their first album has come out they sold millions of records. They play benefit concerts and fight for fair trade and promote it in any way possible.

The bands sound is quite unique considering the singer could cover quite a high range of vocal tones. The music is very piano, acoustic, ambient rock.

They also streamed their album on the web a week before their release and did a live show with most of the songs off the new album on The Leak. Check it out if your in for some calming ballad driven piano rock.
