thanks to everyone for the musical suggestions. feel free to keep 'em coming.

been thinking a lot about short terms goals for myself. you know, things i want to happen within the next few months or so. i haven't compiled an official list yet, but i have some ideas... so i present to you:

Hyena's "To Do" List, Summer of 2005

1. lose 10 lbs. by August. (i've actually started on this one. getting more excercise. watching what i eat. yeah, i know. it's superficial. and it sucks. but i'm tired of being overweight.)

2. start on a series of black and white lino-cuts.

3. get out and see more art, size up galleries that might be interested in showing my work.

4. take better care of my skin; and do something about the puffy circles under my eyes. (yeah, this one's pretty superficial too. i just hate looking older than i actually am. i shouldn't have to worry about this shit for another ten years, so obviously i'm doing something wrong. and yes, i know smoking does not help. fuck you for asking. but i'm not going to quit. at least not in the forseeable future.)

5. get a public library card.

6. talk to my old professor about graduate programs, printmaking workshops and studio internships.

that's about it right now. just off the top of my head.
