been cleaning house all day.

Rhys is in North Carolina for... something to do with ACC basketball. heh. whatever.

thus, the house-cleaning. honestly. i got home from Zulu at about noon on Fat Tuesday, after being up for about 24 hours straight (and working 12 of those at the Dread Bar Snake & Jake's) and started flipping out because the apartment was so disgusting.

it's shaping up, though. i started with cleaning off my desks, the tables, etc. and putting things away, then cleaned out the drawers of one of my desks that have not seen sunlight (or anything but random junk, actually) since i moved. that's over two years ago. eep.

now if i can get all the crap off the floors, i'm gonna mop. i've got a mess of laundry cookin', too. haven't even started cleaning up the bedroom, but it's not as bad as the rest of the house. (which doesn't mean it's spic and span, but it doesn't look like a demolition site, either.)

so i've been at it since 9-something this morning, pretty much straight through. i did take a break to get suckered into buying magazine subscriptions from these two chicks going door-to-door. grrr. but thankfully i made enough extra cash this weekend that i wasn't kicking myself too hard for being a softy.

er. that's nearly it.

that i can think of. sorry to ramble extensively about the cleaning, but that's kind of where my mind is. so.

i know, i should have taken "before" pictures as well. it may not look that clean to the untrained eye, but you can see the floor, both couches, and there is very little garbage lying about. this is the cleanest my apartment has been in months.
