quick update before i have to go to work.

feeling a little bit shaky. between the neighbors' constant domestic squabbling on one side of the room (they fight loud and mean, boys. loud and mean. it's like an epidose of cops on the other side of that wall!) and the work crew on the other, with their mexican radio and perpetual power tool racket, i didn't sleep so well.

i might take off work tomorrow to finish up the drawings. i'm mailing all of them but three (larger, 12 by 14"-ish; with multiple figures and crazy detail) out on monday. yay for me almost meeting my deadline! i talked to the woman i'm working for, though, and she's really excited about them. so that's cool.

now i've got to get some grub in my gut, and go off to sling brews and cocktails for the next twelve hours. the register broke last night, and will probably remain broken. but we had a pretty busy night, not entirely unpleasant or overly demanding. although a scary, mannish woman, who was making out with every guy in sight, did grab my ass. i told a couple of my regulars at the other end of the bar that a chick just goosed me, nodding towards the female in question. my buddy jerry shakes his head and replies, "well, that could've been cool... but it wasn't."

i definitely don't get felt up enough by curvy punk rock chicks.
