it's a beautiful day today- cool and overcast. haven't had a day like this in... a while. i wish i could go to the park, but i've got to stick around th house. i promised i'd stay home in case my boyfriend's game comes in the mail. the u.p.s. guy is notoriously dodgey, and even if we're home he sometimes delivers our packages to the neighbor since we don't have a mailbox, only a slot. bah.

but it really is a lovely day, and i think i'm going to go sit in the back yard after i finish this up. u.p.s. man be damned.

hopefully i've gotten back to everyone and cuaght up on my journal corespondances, so to speak. if i left anyone out, feel free to hate on me. it wasn't intentional.

i also hope to post some of my art here and in the artists group before i leave for my vacation. it's just a matter of sorting through everything and taking some pictures. maybe i'll do that tomorrow. it'll be mostly stuff from my BFA show, relief prints. but i'll try to get some sketchbook shots and some details from some books i made last semester. it's so weird that i'm not going back to school this fall. but that's a whole 'nother can of worms, as they say.

um... what else?
