woke up at 3-something and couldn't get back to sleep. bah. so made some coffee, walked to the store for smokes and i'm updating again...
i really like getting out of the house and roaming the streets right before dawn. i love watching the sky get lighter. i get to do this a lot, but usually it's through the door of the bar. it's great stepping outside of a smoke-filled dive and watching the sun come up in the open air. well, not for most people. but i love it.
so what's you're favorite time of day? i like dusk and dawn... transitional periods, i guess. any thoughts?

a couple years ago i was camping by the ocean and woke up really early and couldnt g oback to sleep. i made a pot of coffe and took it and some smokes and walked down t othe beach and just sat watching the ocean. one of the most relaxing moments i can remember.
