well, four hours of sleep ain't bad...
up early, since i gotta write the rest of a paper that's due today.
i haven't written a paper in... two years? something like that. see, i graduated (well, sort of- they let me walk across the stage) in may. i got my B.F.A. in printmaking, but neglected to fulfill one of the major requirements for receiving my diploma: my writing intensive, whatever that is. i figured, i'm an art major! they can't possibly expect me to be literate! well, they do. oh, they do. so here i am in summer school, taking my first english class since i was seventeen years old. it sucks.
my only consolation is that in three weeks, they'll send me my degree.

As for our friend David Sedaris, Me Talk Pretty One Day was probably THE best read I've had in a long time. If you ever tried to learn French or any foreign language you WILL, I repeat WILL turn blue in the face from laughing. I made the mistake of reading that book in public places -needless to say I received many odd looks.
