i was sick all day yesterday. slept a lot. woke up at 4.45 this morning and made coffee. and now. life is good.
my potential job as a bartender at my favorite haunt has finally come through. boss-man dave has given the official O.K. so i'll be taking my friend Andrew's shift on early sundays, slinging brews and crappily made cocktails, listening to motown and old-school ska, and *gasp* making money, even!
and come july i'll probably be taking over for elaine, so.
good for me.
also i've started drawing again. with a vengeance.
extra good for me.

heh.. if i ever make it out that way on a sunday, i'll drop by.. yeah that's something i'[ve noticed.. never was a bartender.. too antisocial to be nice to irritating drunks.. but as a barback, i got to see it all through what my bartenders have to deal with.. bartenders, especially women, tend to end up as surrogate mothers, objects of lust, and psychiatrists to all the wierdo's who enter thier establishment..
