alright. about time for an update, then i have to go catch the bus.

actually, i think i'll probably miss the bus, and have to wait for the next one. and as it is raining, i don't believe i'm going to chance walking all the way to the bus stop to wait a half hour in the rain. better to wait here, i say, where it's dry and warm. but bus-catching still looms in my imminent future, fear not. i must get where i need to go. yes. indeed.

back in North Carolina, in my vermin-free home. three cheers for that, eh? Rhys and i managed to bring almost everything from New Orleans, much to our mutual dismay. i say dismay, because now that everything is scattered about the house, in rummaged-through boxes, and most of it has nowhere to go, as we are lacking in shelves and surfaces and drawers and other compartments and niches where things should go.

i guess i should tell you about the city itself, but that's another entry, i'm afraid. i have a few pictures, nothing spectacular. i'll try to update once more before i leave for Kentucky. yes, that's right. tomorrow i get to fly away to see my beautiful melvina. i can't wait!

that's gotta be it for now. i've got to swig down some coffee and get my ducks in a row.
