plane ticket home: $175.
extra pet fee: $160.
crappy airport food later to be regurgitated: $12.
watching my chihuahua chase around three 50 pound basset hounds: priceless.

i'm home in kentucky for x-mas.

when i got off the plane in nashville there was a storm of strange, cold, white stuff coming down on us from above. i sat next to an old cajun woman with...

Yeah, fuck that "so what are you really going to do with your life" shit.

I'd sooner you not disappear and die, but other than that, it's best for everyone to find their own path in life. Support and advice helps, but not that condescending "you're not doing something worthwhile" crap.

Anyway. Yeah, snow. I've never lived anywhere where it hasn't snowed a lot every winter, but the lack of snow might be a major factor if I ever decide to move. It is funny to see how different locales react to snow. What's nothing major in NYC is some huge disaster in Alabama, for example. But then again, I don't live where it's not a big deal to measure weekly snowfall in feet.

But hey, nice to see you back. kiss

after several attempts, i have concluded that i am entirely too angry and embittered today to write a readable journal entry. fuck it.

getting ready for another all-nighter. my review is friday. i'm really scared that i don't have enough work, and that i'll a) get my ass handed to me by the faculty reviewing my work, and b) get asked to withdraw from the BFA program. the latter, obviously, is a much more serious and fear-worthy prospect than the former. anyhow. wish me the best, i'm off...

I have no idea what you are doing in school. But best of luck. And if it has anything to do with writing, I don't think you need it. You are one of perhaps only 2 or 3 people on here that I've ever truly enjoyed the literary aspect of your journal entries.

why do i have a sneaking suspicion that i'm headed full speed ahead, straight for a dead end?
probably because tonight, after some drunk guy spilled his beer on me as i was handing it to him, i yelled that i hoped he died in a fiery car crash on the way to wherever he was going after i threw him out of the bar....

If it's any consolation dear, Ronaldo from AT&T called me once asking me to switch my long distance, and i scramed "DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" at the top of my lungs into his ear. If people want to be fuckin idiots they deserve what they got commin to em. And now that the guy things you are a badass hell probably come back and tip you. God knows i would.

As for the looks thing: i completely agree. If i'm with someone and they decide to slack off on hygeine, more fuckin power to em, cuz i do the same thing. I dont shave unless i have to, and in fact at one time i had a full fuckin beard. Very emo lookin or some shit. Of course i have to be able to look at them without cringing, but that is pretty easy for me to do. As long as they have something that makes my sick heart go pitter patter. And if they get fat, well shit i can get fat with em and we can have fat person sex! Well fatter than i am already, but whos keepin score

i should really do something about this constant, all-encompassing, uncontrolable feeling of anger and disgust.

but then again, it keeps me honest.

I know how you feel. I either flip out on people and start fights or some shit, or i drink it away. Not much productive can come of it now. I dunno maybe you can incorportate it into art somehow. Channeling it will probably keep you alive a bit longer . You alive = me happy.

"your visions and your feelings, bad dreams and intuitions

i think the new one is amazing, but most people don't seem to think so. its different, but i like it a lot... its more rock and roll than their older stuff. plus, the songs are great live.

yesterday morning i was up all night working in the print studio. i remember looking up and through the windows seeing this brilliant red-orange sky. there was a warm wind blowing a storm in over the city, and the sky was alive, swirling with pink, grey, purple, orange... i remember thinking that it must be the end of the world coming in with the clouds,...

when i was still working at my former job. i had to open a great many times. which really sucks ass. getting out of bed was annoying. having to drive to work before the sun comes up is annoying, dealing with backward ass fuckhead customers is annoying, dealing with management is fucking annoying. you know the types. the people who open their mouths and you want to strangle them with a piano wire.

but anyway, the point i was getting at (yes there was one) from where i was, right near the front door. i had a perfect view of the sunrise. and as cheesy as it sounds, that somehow made it worthwhile. because i got to see some spectacular ones.

not sure if this is relevant to what you said. but it made me think of it
daem:
I'm keeping this. I will read it over and over. It sounds a lot like poetry in my head. Beautiful poetry. Profound. Nothing I say can really do this justice. But thank you dear.

I seem to be finding more and more reasons for less contact with people. It might be the weather. The damp coolness. This is kinda what it's like in early september back home. Sorry I dont have much to say. I've been more miserabe the last few days than normal. The holidays really bum me out.

Well hello there. You're back, I'm back, we should perhaps exchange pleasantries at some point, if you're still so inclined.

Oh, and I missed the fuck out of you. In case you were wondering.

As for your hair. Mohawk. Definatly mohawk damn it!
daem:
I still gotta plan a time to come visit you, in less than 30 days ill be legal to buy the shit myself! so scotch and a hug is definatly doable.

If you do get a mohawk i will drool like a school girl at you. K maybe i already do but um...this will be more so or something.

Seriously though you'd look even better with one. When I did mine i was 16. My parents didn't talk to me for 2 weeks. I'm still tryin to figure out what i can do to get that peacefulness back. After the hair tattoo needles in my face and politics, it seems nothing can shock them that much anymore =(

and was the thing about Fat Wreck coinciding with Against Me's new album put out?
