So, life in Seattle is pretty rad. I'm loving my apartment and my job so far, even though I've only worked 1 day. I'm starting to feel settled in a bit, I have food in my refrigerator, I made lunch in my apartment for the first time today and I'm starting to hang out in my Ballard, my new neighborhood! My favorite place in my neighborhood (ballard) thus far is easily cupcake royal. This week is going to be long, my first work week in 2.5 years where I have a set schedule. In time I'll be able to work from home as well as set my own schedule, but for now I'm going to do the norm.. 8-5.
One depressing thing about Seattle is that there are couples everywhere, my views in this regard MAY be skewed due to the large number of house i've been spending in Ikea, Bed Bath and Beyond and Target this weekend, time will tell. That being said seeing all those couples being domestic definitely made me want to get out there and meet someone, a desire I haven't felt in months.
Cannot wait for my internet to get turned on on Tuesday. I came to the coffee shop today with the specific intent of blogging and watching hulu.. however upon arriving I discovered my ear buds are broken :/ Epic Fail.
