Well I posted a set in SG hopefuls, not an application or anything, just breaking into the idea of thousands of people being able to look at my nakedness at anytime. The pictures are sub-par (dark, blurry, odd coloring, obscured face etc) but we was Just Goofing (title of set). I might shoot a set this weekend; well see how things go.
I was gonna apply like 3 years ago, but I waited to be 100% sure that I wanted to do this. I dont want to do this because I think Im hot and must share it with the world. Its that Im a very sexual person and I want to try something Ive always thought about but never had the nerve to do. People throughout my life had told me I had what it takes to be a model, but I never had the attitude or confidence for it really. Im pretty friggin tall too. I just thought of myself as the tall lanky one. Im gonna be 25 this year, if Im gonna do it I should do it now. Ive changed a lot as Ive gotten older and I feel I now have the confidence needed. Im very happy with the person Ive become. Ive come a long way and have lived through a lot of sick shit.
Also, I didnt want to be selling some product or something looking the way the advertisers or what-have-you wants me to look. SG makes this art; freedom to express who you are how you want. Im a photographer but have never taken self portraits before. SG would give me a chance to hone my skill . . . and Im out of practice.
