I may be getting out to sd sooner than expected! My Chief said he should have an answer about my clearance in the next couple weeks. It'd be awesome to get out there before xmas, since I was planning on going there in Dec anyways. Maybe I can even get a place if it's fast enough, so I won't have a live on the ship in port. Wishful thinking, but I can't be pessimistic ALL the time.
