So I've been considering going into the reserves lately. I haven't decided which branch, but I'm leaning towards the Navy. I still really want to be a tattoo artist, but maybe it's just not the right time to do it. My best friend's mom is actually a navy reservist, so I'm hopefully going to speak with her soon and get some more info.

it's offically my birthday!

I had an awesome time this weekend. The tattoo convention was cool; not really worth the $15, though. Thanks for going with me v8dreaming- and for the flashlight! Dinner was also excellent. I had so many people come that I had not seen in forever.

I started cleaning up my new pad today...bugs galore. Atleast they were all dead! I still have to rip up the foam from some nappy carpet that was down there and replace some sheet rock. I'll probably end up staining the concrete (I love the way that looks) black and then gloss over it. It will be like a basement loft... or something

things are great with me lately. I've been helping my dad move and soon I'll be demo-ing the basement for my new living quarters. Ben has definately come to be a great friend again. I'm sooo happy about that. Even though we've gone through hell and back he'll always be in my life.

I went to third eye (which is the local shop in Newnan) today. It went okay- I didn't get an apprenticeship, but the guys were pretty cool and gave me some pointers. The owner told me to do some more flash work and sharpen my drawing skills and he would be happy to critque my work. I'm just going to keep drawing and go up...
