what you actually hear popping is air pockets/bubbles between your joints.
um... you know how if you break something, its never quite right
and it always needs to be adjusted/popped/cracked (ie:those back poppin doctors)
and....how if you break something its pretty likely that you'll get arthritis
in whatever area that was hurt......
