My parents used to speak Spanish around my siblings and I as children to keep us from knowing what they were talking about. I have always been exposed to Spanish, living in south Texas, but practicing Spanish is still a challenge. I have had many lessons throughout grade school, high school and college, but I still am not a fluent speaker. My mom didn't grow up speaking it, but learned it as an adult working as a secretary at a Catholic church. She speaks more fluently than me! I have found Suicide Girls to be a great place to practice communicating in a second language. Folks are very polite and patient. You should do it! I wish you well. 😊
