Maybe I'll turn this into an actualy journal entry this time. More than likely, it'll just be random crap I've thrown together from the maelstrom that is my mind.

Einsturzende Neubauten is starting to grow on me. I think it's the weather. It's been much colder these past few weeks, and we get clouds pretty much every day now. It's grey and chilly, and being in it puts me in some kind of mood that's like an amalgamation of depression and elation. And songs like "The Garden" fit that mood pretty well, enough so that I can almost /feel/ the music as well as hear it.

Work is pretty nice. Everyone there is super nice, there's no degrading uniform to wear, and I don't suck at it too much. While it's obvious from certain threads that quite a few people wouldn't approve... well, they can pretty much go fuck themselves, I guess. I have to pay for textbooks and fees somehow, and it's hard enough as it is to get a job anywhere. And I'm definitely not going back to the "food service" industry for cash... I'd rather make my living testing the functionality of ball gags. Oh, and some random girl I talked to gave me her phone number, too. That was a new experience.

Another make-believe conversation that the evil part of my brain would like to see come alive. We'll start this one in the middle for brevity.
Her: "They wanted me to take all sorts of classes and learn a bazillion new instruments just to teach music, so I decided against it. I don't think I could learn another instrument, anyway."
Me: "Oh, nonsense. You' really good on violin, you were able to learn the cello, and I'm sure get a lot of practice on your new guy's skin flute."
*click*

Yes, I actually use words like "nonsense" in everyday conversation.

A wise person once said, and I'm paraphrasing here... "fuck taking things seriously." That's some good stuff.

All right, I think that's long enough.

Einsturzende Neubauten kicks ass! It just takes some time to realize this.
