Hooray! Education update for next year!
Well, I decided to check up on financial aid info since a few days ago it said my award letter was being processed. Wasn't expecting much, but I had a notice that said I needed to review and accept the terms and conditions. I got a little excited, but I knew it could just be a preliminary kind of thing. Afterwards, I checked my awards and found out I got $7,050 in grants to go to Waubonsee next year. Being poor pays off! I got the maximum Pell Grant of $5,050 as well as an IL MAP Grant totaling $1,500. I'm so excited! It's such a huge relief knowing that I can go to school without worrying about the cost. Now I just need to make sure I bust my ass to keep my grades up. (:
