i actually miss school, can you believe it?
my first day of volunteering at powerup (organization that helps mostly lesbian filmmakers get their films made). i have never seen so many lesbians in one place! it was interesting.
in a way i actually fear (and loathe) the gay community. gay culture, our old archenemy, makes being gay seem like so much MORE than it really is. i have to calm down sometimes. it's just liking girls. my identity has not/will not change. it shouldn't have to be a whole segregated lifestyle. it is though, which is why we have "the L word".
anyway the seminar on networking was wonderful. it got me feeling ambitious for the first time in months and i'm wanting to write lots of short films and things and become incredibly famous.
off to conduct imaginary interviews with myself.
