MARCH FOR WOMEN'S LIVES WAS AWESOME!!!
i've just been way too lazy to write about it til now.
i am the one in the green shirt with black hair. fenchurch is the one next to me with the mighty mouse shirt.
there were free signs for everyone! and pins and stickers and t-shirts!
there were amazing t-shirts and signs like "lick bush 2004" and "bush, there is no oil in my vagina" and "all your fetuses are belong to us". there were many giant uteruses.
there were lots of cute boys in pink "this is what a feminist looks like" shirts. and lots of hot girls. and lots of jews.
there were the jesus kids:
and pro-lifers! eee!
we laughed at them and also chanted angrily. they were all like "you should have been aborted" and we were like "shut uppa your face." they also had priests who were blessing us.
when we stopped for ice cream at a little cart the guy was saying to everyone "your right to choose, what flavor?"
the rally was chock full of random celebrities. ani difranco was there! she sang beautifully. and ALIX OLSON, the militant feminist lesbian of my dreams. it was insane because i wished aloud for her to be there and then she WAS. she sang "cunt country" and i was freaking out from the weirdness.
there were lots of pro-choice med students and activists and feminist leaders who said constant intelligent things.
the whole thing was incredible and wonderful and empowering. more pictures to come!

thanks for the tip on another what sounds to be great author.. i see he is a " well known southern gothic comedian"... its always nice to feed the reading addiction.... I feel so out of the loop.. i read way too much non fiction... i dont know what my problem is.
