Every time something tragic happens I tend to get over emotional...
Relates to a couple years back when my best friend/Blood brother died....
So now I tend to express myself either through music, art or poetry....
And just thinking of how for one instant we can loose it all....
That made me realize just what a dick I can be at times....
How I act like if something is lost it can be replaced....
It can't...
There will always be a void... a hole....
So we should charish and appreciate that which we have...
Even for a second....
Cause just like in Haiti and in Chile...
It can all end and be torn right out of us....



The death of a rose can be tragic.
The fading of a shimmering star displeasing.
But a tear in your eye is rapture to my heart.
Not one day goes by that you aren't on my mind.
To wonder what life would be like with your absence.
Is to walk this earth in total darkness.
A rose may die, or a star burn out.
But what my heart feels for you, is for you everlasting.
