Better get this in before I shake the martini shaker. Due to my professional responsibilities to be on call until Friday PM, no drinkie-drinkie for a week. Too busy yesterday to think about. Going to have one or two now. Have flexible plans for next week for the vacation to LA and Lost Wages. I will take Adalynn's welcome advice and plunk down the pesos for the Bellagio. Please don't hate me for being a non-smoker, but I am hoping strenuously that I might find a non-smoking Vegas hotel room that doesn't smell like a tobacco bar in Arabia (I've been in one).

I could drive out Friday afternoon from the Duke City and be at the Bellagio a little after midnight. Or, I might wait until Saturday, bypass Las Vegas until the way back, and get to San Pedro just as the sun disappears on the ocean. Either plan allows for ocean, beach, road-trip, high-speed driving, alcohol, entertainment, good food, gambling, and perhaps even more subtle possibilities. A great friend of mine is encouraging me to boat over to Catalina, so that's a possibility a well. Anyway, this HP laptop is never far from my reach, and I hope to update on my vacation. Peace out...
