ok... so here it is...
it's come down to the late night rambling... only hours before getting up to do another 18 hr work day....
I've fallen rediculously hard for someone (those who were at Prom may have seen my jet-lagged date).... who lives in an entirely different time zone... and after being given a fantastic two week surprise visit, feelings have intensified. Certain promises were made.
Early this morning I dropped him off at the airport.
... and there just seems to be a void everywhere right now. He's not there when I get up. I can't call him up while I'm at work to see if he wants to come with me for my lunch break. He won't drop by my bar on nights I'm working. He won't be there when I get home. I'll be eating dinner alone, I'll be sleeping alone... gaming alone....
His shirt was sitting beside my computer when I got home today.
His empty shirt smells like him.
I'm glad it does, but I wish it didn't.
