befor you read on, it's not a happy one, but such is life.........
darker days have come, my grandfather on my dads side is in the hospital, and it dosn't look like he's going to make it. he already has the Alzheimers, and now has Pnumonia, i got a call last night that he wouldn't make it threw the night. turns out he did, but is struggling with each breath, the doctors have him on morphine and something else. my question is, "is it bad that i feel happy that he's not going to be in pain anymore and wont have to live with violent stages of Alzheimers? wondering where he is at all the time, not remembering anything or anyone?"
i feel like shit and then again i don't.
EDIT: he passed @ 4AM 12/17/05
