...so I'm thinking that my portfolio will consist mostly of photographs. That might or might not be a bad thing; on the one hand, I don't draw well, but on the other hand, I'm not really a photographer. They say, though, that they're looking more for artistic vision over artistic skill; the skill will be taught by the school.

I wish you well on the letter of reference. The only person I can remotely think of who could put in a similar word for me would be my father, but he's an industrial engineer ... other side of the coin, so to speak.

I think it should be; "Have a bewitching Halloween."
