in progress:

We find ourselves (I find myself)
plunged into this fantasy of mine
with vicious interference from
this hollow kind, whoever they are

I say fuck them all
we say fuck them
without even wondering why
anyone should want to defy us

It is a device, you see
of the imagination
whereby every move against us
can only strengthen our will
our unification!

And now
we are running
through twitching rooms
on bled-sewn floors, too possessed
to notice the dimensions falter
and fix again, as if warped in
the wincing of a cognizant eye
ashamed of this farce
ashamed in resignation

Such is the tragedy of these
aimless episodes; they cannot learn
they do only what they can
to manage so many memories
and to satisfy the vanity
that what is past
and what is present
must be wrong

its ok, but a bit of a shambles. I doubt it would convey what I intended.

I finally saw The Life Aquatic. strangest damn film I ever saw and I loved it. i particularly enjoyed Owen Wilsons Kentucky accent, and the stop-motion (?) sea life was a great little touch too. smile

Heh, I was a farmhand for four summers, actually. I worked on a vegetable farm and scored free organic veggies. It was awesome- I especially loved being outside all the gosh-darn time.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already read Nausea. I feel silly saying that I've already done and read the things you're recommending to me- as though I'm trying to prove something! I'm really not.

Hope you're well.
