CASTING CALL!
well, not really. more of a shot in the dark. i'm hoping to poach a photographer for Rain Over Bouville. my friend Lucy Wren has contributed in the past but these days her creativity is somewhat consumed by her studies, and i get tired of nagging her for new material when she has real work to worry about.
the Spring Post and the forthcoming Summer edition feature poetry and paintings/sketches but i feel the range is lacking without a photographic aspect, hence i'm/we're looking for a snapper who can contribute "conceptual portraits" that make you think. point me in the right direction if you can.

the nieghbors are faces i pass occasionally as i get in my car to leave the maddening confines of our apartment, though their kids are more than that (sometimes, however, i must admit, i cross my fingers in hopes of escaping the parking lot unnoticed). i liked your comment...i also think that sometimes agreeing to disagree is the way to go....a jewel to remember when in a long term relationship, as well.

Have you ever looked at Reagan's photos? I think you should seriously consider asking her to contribute, though I don't know if she'd even reply (she's quite self-effacing). Her photos are consistently remarkable and charasmatic in terms of their colour, composition, and just sheer verve. I luv em.
