When I see two lovers
sat next to each other
with that universe of anxieties
lodged between them, I assume
they are living a false affair
united arbitrarily
and lacking the vital drive
of a couple set to shed young skins
though hungry still
for each others flesh
to flavour the monotony that's now
their daily bread
I assume and I presume
and then I take this ill idea
and force-feed it
into almost every aspect of my life
because there is no-one
Id rather be, and to be who I am
I must maintain that there is no god
and that the sense of being alone
in its absence
is really not so bad

i know, i know. people tell me to avoid the ipod but every time i see the new 60g, my willpower weakens a little bit more.
i was kind of conned into the whole mac and cheese thing. i was enjoying not taking part in things that everyone else had grown up with. most people still don't believe me on that one, anyway.
