Ok, heat has returned. Thank god! I was freezing my patootie off. Now I can tell you about my awesome Christmas...

I went to church with DodRaibeid on Christmas Eve and discovered I know more of the words to the songs than he does. That is funny, yet sad. Whose religion is it? (I think he was partially doing it for effect, to his credit.) Upon return to his parents', we played Trivial Pursuit and watched Darby O'Gill and the Little People, a movie DodRaibeid grew up on and I gave him on DVD that night. It was...interesting. Opening presents in the morning was a lot of fun. I've never done the Christmas morning thing before. I really enjoyed it and they made me feel like I was part of the family. Uncle Frank's wasn't terrible like I thought it as going to be. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. I ended up actually really enjoying myself there too.

I got some awesome stuff. DodRaibeid is the sweetest! He took a photograph the two of us and sketched it. I didn't even know he could draw realistically! It looks absolutely amazing! I'll post a picture as soon as I can scan it. He also gave me this:



How gorgeous is that? It's by Amy Brown I love her work! He also got me the new Nirvana box set and a special something for us. My boy is so awesome! I am so in love!!!!

Sorry about the gushy stuff. I've been feeling really mushy lately. I don't know what it is. I don't think it's a bad thing though.

Randomness:
I am tired of studying for the GREs. They suck.
Fat Albert was funny.
I have a big long scratch on my arm from one of my cats. Ouch.
I'm still cold.
I'm kind of horny.
I received my first out of country call today. I was a bit confused because there were too many numbers on my caller-ID. (Hi, Chrisalis!)
Welcome to smoalne. He's a damn cool guy.
I still don't know what I am doing for New Year's.
I think it is time for bed.
