I got back from hanging out with my friend, Ben, and his girlfriend a little while ago. I had a really good time. We hung out at the diner, talked, and played cards for about 4 hours. Three or four years ago, I regularly sat in diners with Ben and our friend, Andy, for absurd amounts of time. We would just talk and be silly until 4am. At one point we decided it would be a fantastic idea to take a cross-country trip and make a documentary about visiting diners. Obviously, that never happened, but those were good times. It was great to hang out with Ben again. I really like his girlfriend too. I think the three of us are going to hang out on Thursday again. I'm looking forward to it.

I am on a mission of self-rediscovery. Over the last two years, I seem to have lost myself. I used to be a much more self-relient, happy individual. Now, I'm hesitant to do things on my own and I seem to rely on others to make me happy. This needs to change. I've been making major steps lately and plan to continue to in the next weeks and months. It's time for me to be happy again, dammit!
