That's really sad. It does, however, remind me of one of my favorite college stories. I was living with two exchange students and another American one semester, and the exchange students had never seen ladybugs. They also didn't know that a lot of people think it's bad luck to kill a ladybug. So one night, a few ladybugs somehow got into the room and freaked them out. They tried to kill them with Strawberries and Cream air freshener. That was, quite possibly, one of the funniest nights we had that semester. (It was also the night we taught them how to pillow fight. 
)
