Howdy from the land of Yankee-dom!!!
I am still alive. I have been here 17 hours now. I have fought down the urge seven (7) times already to smack a Yankee for ineptitude. Why do people think, because I am from Arkansas, that I have less of an intellect or won't notice things?

How does a ten hour road trip take 13 hours?

Hit Chicago rush hour traffic!!!
It took longer to go the approximately 40 miles last night than it did to get out of the state of Arkansas leaving Conway!!!! UGH!! To top that off, I go out this morning to get some things out of the Yukon, and one of the hinges on the back glass comes loose from the glass!!!! None of the glass places that say "mobile service" have any. Must fight urge to beat the living shit out of stupid people!!!!
People seem put off by my having my moment of silence before eating. I bowed my head, said my prayer my Grandfather always said, and when I looked up; people were staring at me like I had grown a third eye!!
Anyway, I am having a lot of fun at the convention. It is a LARPers convention. The Camarilla. My costume tends to scare people. I walked in the elevator, in costume, and this tiny black man screamed, "HOLY SHIT!!! DUDE, you scared me!!" I was laughing so hard, I couldn't get on the elevator. I love that I get to just stand around staring at people, and it unnerves them!!
I will be back in town on Sunday night! I need some well-wishing and helpful thoughts, so send them my way!
