Got back from the hospital about an hour ago. My step-father is doing well. He is still a bit sluggish cause of the anesthetic, but he was awake enough to give the nurses a hard time when they came in to check on him. His blood pressure was fluctuating pretty bad, so let's hope that is just a by-product of the surgery and drugs.

They will keep him overnight and, if everything goes well, Mom will be able to take him home tomorrow afternoon.
