Ok. . .so this is my lil rant of the minute.
Oddly enough it's about my hair. . .which is by far the most expensive accessory I own.

First off. . .There is SO much of it. I have really really really thick hair. It's great, but there's so much of it. Everytime I go to a new hairdresser I can gaurentee hearing "You've got so much hair," in under five minutes. Along with having copius amounts of hair comes copius amounts of shedding. I routinely have to cut thru the hair that has wrapped around the roller in my vaccuum. Every time I shower there is a nice hair ball to dispose of. It's sick. I have this weird thing about hair not connected to heads. eeeeew!

Then there's maintence. My hair is currently fried from when I went platinum blonde about a year ago. It was for a show, and I wanted to know what I'd look like platinum. The answer was ALBINO. So now I'm continuning to pay in upscale hair products. I just bought samples of a new shampoo and conditioner. The reg. size bottle are $20/each! The tiny samples were $6/each!

Then there's hair accessories! Which I love. . .because my hair's generally in a pony tail because it takes an hour to make it look semi presentable! So I buy tons of cute doo dads to spiffy up a boring pony!

worst of all about all of my hair is the fact that I am EXTREMLY tender headed. A friend tried to help me straighten it, I ended up in tears. Oh and it's all wavy hair so it knots well. . .and getting through those ends in lots of scrunched faces and painful oooohs!

:sigh: When I was young I had really straight hair and my mom had curly hair. I told her I wish I had curly hair like she did. She of course warned me to be careful what I wish for. It came true. . .The underneath is very curly, middle is super wavy, and the top layer is still relatively straight, with the exeception of two wave patterns at my temple. Yeah can I wish for normal hair?
Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to post pics of my fro hair. Don't hold your breath tho.
