Wow. . .I'm up early today! I woke up around late 9! Which is in stark comparisson to the 2 pm wake up of monday that set my whole day in a tail spin! To reward myself I made scambled eggs, grits, and coffee. . . .mmmm grits. I love grits and it makes me feel country, but I'm ok with that. I also really like hominy, which is grits pre grind. My cats like grits too. . . I have to be on gaurd when they're around.
I'm so glad it's Thursday! Lat day of classes this week. Fridays we all meet up and exchange kits. They've been doing this bullshit team building at work and it's buggin. I mean I enjoy everyone, but you're only paying me $10 bucks to sit there and do this bullshit. I could be home online. . .pretending to clean. I haven't told work that I'm not coming back for the next session yet. I mean I haven't even decided about school yet. I do however have my friend half convinced to move to Portland.
Oh yeah have I even mentioned school stuff recently here? UW gave me the big rejection b/c they didn't have my hs transcripts. . they suggested I apply for another semester after the application deadline had past. . .FUCK EM! SO I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Portland State. When I called they made it sound like they let anyone in, so portland here I come! In preperation for yet another move I have LOTS of stuff to ebay. I have a bunch of cute shirts that need to go, all still in really good shape. Shoes and DVDs will also be getting the axe. Maybe some books? No i think I just heard my heart break when I typed that.
Ok so the show tuesday. . . .It was fuckin awesome! Defari opened, not bad. My brother and I made fun of him because he was pushin his myspace! And every other song he made sure to drop his name and the name of his album. Next in the lineup was Little Brother. Not bad, one of the guys had really cute dimples. . . While they were good I was chit chattin with my brother and getting drinks so I don't have much to say about them. Finally around 10:40 Dilated took the stage! The highlight is when everyone hit the sides of the stage and Babu tore it up for a good 5-10 minutes! Holy shit can that man spin! It was funny to watch Evidence get into it! The real back bone of Hip Hop is disc jocks. . . Then of course Work the Angles came on shit got outta control! It was fuckin awesome. Since I have the coolest brother afterwards we waited to see if we could get some signatures, and Sure enough Evidence and Babu came back out. . .and I scored ^_^
