I know, I know - all of you who've been just hanging on a thread and wondering, when the hell will this jerk update again?? Sorry. Really. I care. Really, I do. I'm evil to keep you waiting. And worst of all, waiting for nothing. I've got nothing. No news or olds or fascinating insights or outsights or anything of interest whatsoever. So shoot me.

Just getting ready for my long-anticipated "summer vacation" which I realize is slightly late. Summer's over, it's history. But I prefer to travel after most people are back at work, and their snot-nosed brats are back at school. This year I'm dragging my poor (nearly 80-yr old) mother to Europe, just because she's always wanted to see Budapest. So to get back at her, I'm making her see Vienna too. That'll teach her. At least I've been to the latter before (job interview back in 1997, friend's wedding in 2001). And I might understand every 3rd or 4th word if I'm really lucky. But all bets are off in Budapest. We'll just be lost tourists. Our family is notorious for getting lost. Should be no problem at all.
