As they say when youre feeling bored, you might as well start boring others too. So Ill update.

Mostly good news on the leg. Im cleared to limp about socially without crutches, so long as I take it easy. The cyst is still there, but not very painful anymore. Next week Ill have another ultrasound to see if it is still shrinking or has stabilized. If it doesnt continue to shrink, it may have to come out. But for now Im happy just to get outside and get some exercise while the weather has been so great (3 days in a row of 80 F or better).

Even better news SG photos have arrived (finally!) from Salome and Allura. The weird thing is, I ordered them at about the same time and they arrived only a day apart but one came from Chicago and the other from Australia. The good old US Postal Orifice playing games again.

Finally, since I have a new camera phone, I couldnt resist using it to photograph my leg at its post-swelling and maximally-bruised state. Ewwwwwww! Peek if you dare. (Guess you can't do nested spoliers)

Oooops, I lied about the finally part. Now out on DVD is one of my favorite French films. Before A Very Long Engagement and Amelie and City of Lost Children was the first feature film from Jeunet and Caro. In stores and rental establishments now DELICATESSEN. A wonderful black comedy of love and cannibalism.

And today I saw the film Hard Candy. Very intense, very very dark humor and quite worthwhile to see. In fact I recommend it for all men. It raises some interesting points about justifiable torture and other charged topics.
