My wife got the best possible Mother's Day present. Our daughter broke up with her drunk ass, druggie, employment challenged boyfriend who's been living at our house for five months. I expect them to be back together in two days at the most but one can always hope. If he is gone for good there is going to be a helluva custody battle over their dog.

I have a question, if I may. For a man of your generation to be into (or at least appreciative of) my generation's counterculture is a bit of a rarity. Were you counterculture yourself growing up? Or are you just the exception to the rule?
