I'm in Alaska right now and it's beautiful. I spent a few days in Anchorage and I love it there. We just hung out and wandered around the city. It was really nice and relaxing, just the way I like to travel.
Then we went to Denali for a few days. That was pretty lame. The only cool part was going to the dog kennel to see the dog sled demonstrtion. I got to pet some of the dogs and hold a puppy. All the dogs seem to really like pulling sleds so I no longer think its cruel. as soon as they realize the rangers are hooking up a sled they all start jumping and barking excidedly and begin to pull as soon as they're hooked to the sled so it has to be chained down. The rest of Denali was boring.
now I'm at a ski resort about 35 miles south of Anchorage. Since its fall theres no snow so today I went hiking through the rain forest. It was amazing! It rained all day so I got really went but it was worth it. Yesterday I saw a black bear from the hotel window. That was pretty cool.
I'll be here for a few more days. Its been cold and rainy most of the time I've been here which is a nice change to hot and humid in San Diego.

I wish I could have gone with y'all. Instead I've been working tons. They fired one of the other girls (which sucks cuz she was awesome) soooooo to cover her shifts I am working over time tomorrow. Bleh.
When you get back we should plan a time for me to visit you. I talked to Donna (undergrad adviser) and she said if I want a PhD i better take calculus and I ought to take the intensive psych major. Oh joy. More research methods.
