I am home for the summer and half think I made a mistake by coming home. Living with my parents again is not so easy or exciting. But on the bright side, Kt is only two hours away instead of seven, Amy is three blocks away and I have my furry blob that I think is a cat so its not all bad.
I spent the 4th of July with Amy, her sister and her brother in law again this year. That's one Fourth of July tradition I'd like to keep. Hopefully next year it won't be 106. At least we were inside most of the time this year. Some people down the street had a whole bunch of illegal fireworks. One of the roman candles hit a house. Fortunately it didn't catch on fire. Like most holidays, the 4th of July is much more fun with little kids around. Amy's two nephews made it more fun because they were so excited by the fireworks (with the rest of Amy's family at a close second).
I'm going to SC to visit my uncle for his birthday this weekend however I plan to spend most of my time at Kt and Jm's apartment instead. Eventhough Kt was just home I still can't wait to go visit her. Home is not home without her.
My cat got herself somewhat stuck under the house today. When I finished laughing at her I helped her out. The opening she found was just a little too small for her to squeeze back out since she's so damn fat.
Yeah, not very exciting summer so far.

I'll probably take you up on that and spend a few weekends with you. It was 111 yesterday. It sucks. But, like you said, I'm saving a lot of money by staying here for the summer.
I think mom is really starting to like me not having a job because I do all the cleaning now. I've been scrubbing windows, floors, bathrooms, and the stove all week.
