One of my friends, Dana, is away at school in pittsburg. Her away message today:
"I'm from the town with the great football team. We cheer the Pittsburgh Steelers. Where winning's a habit, not only a dream. Go out and get them Steelers!!! Out to Heinz Field for the game.
Shes from buffalo just like me, but apparently shes defected to Pittsburgh due to the fact that its a pain in the ass to cheer for the Buffalo Bills
(maybe because being 2nd place just means your the biggest looser ?)
ON a different note, ive been shopping for Shelly's christmas gift. Been havin fun hittin the jewelry stores.
littmans jewelry = very nice people who are quite willing to help, but are also willing to just let me look ... cool
Kay jewelry = "Craig" apparently thinks ill be buying the Leo 3 stone necklace which is $1900, which hed be happy to discount 9% for me, then discount it a lil more, then give me "santa certificates" for every $300 ive spent which will allow me to later come back and get like a total of $500 in jewelry for $250 or something like that. I missed most of the talk cause i walked away while shelly was playing w/ the diamonds. and every so often i made a "shelly just wants to knock me off so she can get all my mad money" joke .....just to encourage Craig some more
Kays.... second time in, this time w/o Shell on my arm. walked in on the right, started to walk around the center case, 1/2 way down the right side Craig spots me, managed to ditch his customer and catches up w/ me 1/2 way down the left side of the case. on me like a greedy sales man at a used car lot. FIRST 3 THINGS OUT HIS MOUTH ... have you decided yet???? are you going to get her the 1 carent leo certified 3stone ???? Remember, you get the santa certificates to use for valentines day! i told him i wasnt sure yet and he pleasently left me alone to "decide" and thatrs when i dissappeared, lol .... i love toying w/ people
ive got a pretty good idea what i want to get Shelly, once i have $ in hand its only gonna take one trip to littmans to get the perfect gift for her im sure
but i think ill go back to see craig, tell him i found the perfect leo certyified blah blah blah on ebay for dirt cheap .......
