It's Post-Easter in Pompeii 79AD... chocolate rabbits with peanut butter and dates are super-yummy, and it will be ham and hard-boiled egg sandwhiches for at least a week. I'm adapting fairly well here, and don't really miss the 21st century much at all. I'm going to try my hand at DJing a brit pop/indie night Sundays at a local club here, hopefully that will take off. I'm going to call it "Mt. Vegroovius." I've introduced the Pompeiians to Jarvis Cocker and black, lo-top Chuck Taylors... everyone here is getting pretty fuckin' hip. I saw some lo-caste guy leading his donkey the other day, and he had the English Beat skankin' guy pinned to his toga, and his girlfriend was wearing two belts. Pretty bitchin'. I showed them the SG site, and almost unanimously Ancient Pompeii digs Linz the most. I like it here. Tomorrow I'm going to show them how to dye their hair with grape Kool-Aid.
