Today I gave my 59th pint of blood.

I donate every 12 weeks.

Despite a tube strike in London today, I was determined to ensure that I attended my appointment.

Looking back at my old donation records, I first donated blood on 1 October 1986!

That is before many of you beautiful ladies were born.
