ok, i have a confession to make...i'm a huge weirdo nerd surreal and i love harry potter. i got the new 5th book when it came out at 9am est and finished reading it yesterday afternoon. did anyone else read it yet? what are your views on the 5th installment? i personally was prety shocked about all the plot twists rowling threw in there. and yes i know it's a dman childrens's book and all, but who writes an 800 page book for a nine year old?! let me know what everyone else thought about it. love love love mad harry potter love!

Haven't read the books. I love to read, don't get me wrong, but I saw the first movie and really liked it. Now I'm not sure that I want to read the books. Maybe just wait for the films? I dig the visuals. I love watching bios and interviews of Rowling though. Her brain is amazing. I wish I could spew story ideas like her, but alas, I have to actually think, and then write. She just goes crazy with her pen!

I liked the story much more than I thought I would.
